Ingredients
- 6 cups peeled, thinly sliced apples
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- ¼ cup water
- 1 tablespoon orange juice
- 1 tablespoon grated orange rind
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ⅓ cup packed brown sugar
- ⅓ cup quick-cooking rolled oats, uncooked
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ cup butter
Directions
Combine apples, cranberries, ¾ cup brown sugar, water, orange juice, and orange rind; spoon into a 2-quart oblong or 8-in square baking dish.
Combine flour, ⅓ cup brown sugar, oats and cinnamon.
Cut in butter with a pastry blender or fork until crumbly; sprinkle over fruit.
