Herb and Butter Seared Steak

A perfectly seared steak shouldn’t be intimidating. With a few basic ingredients and the right temperature, this entree can be ready in 15 minutes. A great solution for those last-minute guests!

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes
Ready in: 15 minutes

Ingredients

Any premium steak cut
3 sprigs thyme and 1 sprig rosemary, tied together
1 clove garlic, chopped
1/2 stick butter
2 tsp olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 shallot, sliced (optional)

Directions

Add olive oil to pan and heat to medium-high.
Season steak with salt and pepper as desired and begin to sear in pan.
Add butter, shallot, garlic, and herbs to pan.
Spoon butter over steak while cooking.
Sear on each side for three to four minutes.
