Miele is known for designing dishwashers that are innovative and beautiful. Their latest models are no exception. They’re fully integrated with cabinet panels, so they blend perfectly into the kitchen. Plus, you won’t see fingerprints or smudges on them. The most amazing part is that they don’t have any handles and easily open by tapping twice on the front of the appliance. This Knock2Open technology developed by Miele is available in the Lumen and Diamond series units in their Generation 6000 series. These appliances are so smart they can differentiate between tapping on the front of the door, the countertop, or other kitchen units.
Even though these appliances don’t have displays on the outside, some models have a feature called TimeControl that allows you to see the countdown time. It uses 4 LEDs on the control panel on the edge of the door. All four turn on when a cycle starts and one by one they turn off until one is left letting you know there are 20 minutes left in the cycle. Once the cycle is complete, the door will automatically open. Other features include a 3Dcutlery tray, BrilliantLight, and ComfortClose.
This groundbreaking technology from Miele allows you to have a beautiful kitchen without handles that blend in seamlessly with any kitchen.
